Choose Around the Wheels You Service
The right tire changer depends on rim diameter, tire diameter, wheel width and weight, clamping method, tire construction, and the work you perform. Compare the machine's complete specifications with your actual wheel assemblies before ordering.
Start with These Checks
- List your passenger, light-truck, motorcycle, or commercial wheel applications.
- Record rim diameter, overall tire diameter, width, and assembly weight separately.
- Compare inside and outside clamping ranges where applicable.
- Check assist-arm features, mounting tools, and approved wheel accessories.
- Confirm voltage, phase, frequency, air supply, footprint, and setup requirements.
- Budget for freight, adapters, setup, training, and maintenance.

Wheel-Clamp Models
Compare models such as KT-T800, KT-T810, and KT-T830 for your wheel range and workflow. The current supplier describes KT-T830 as a light-duty assist-arm model. Do not assume that every assist-arm machine has two arms or that all wheel-clamp models share the same capacity.
Tilt-Arm Models
Compare KT-T850 when a tilt-arm layout suits your shop. Check its clamping ranges and wheel limits rather than selecting solely by arm style.
Hydraulic Models
Compare KT-T900 against its current product specifications and supplied tooling. An older product URL or “fully automatic” label does not establish a 30-inch rim capacity or guarantee scratch-free operation.
Heavy-Duty and Mobile Applications
Commercial wheels require model-specific checks. Compare the equipment listed for truck, bus, or tractor service, including KT-TV910 and KT-T26PRO. KT-T26PRO is the model name; do not confuse it with KT-T260. Confirm the current supplied configuration and stock before ordering. A mobile design still requires suitable transport, electrical supply, setup, and wheel-handling arrangements.
Browse current tire changer product pages for model-specific dimensions and specifications.
Understand Capacity Measurements
Inside and outside clamping ranges refer to how a rim is held; overall wheel diameter refers to the tire's outside diameter. These values are not interchangeable. A machine that accepts a particular rim diameter may still be unsuitable because of width, tire construction, wheel weight, or mounting geometry.
Assist Arms, Bead Seating, and Wheel Protection
Check the assist tools supplied with the chosen model and their approved applications. A bead-seating air system and a bead breaker perform different jobs. Follow the manufacturer's operating and inflation procedures. Leverless tooling or protective components do not eliminate the risk of wheel or tire damage; correct setup, compatible tooling, and operator training remain necessary.
Motorcycle and Accessory Compatibility
For motorcycle wheels, confirm the machine's approved applications and required adapters. Accessories such as motorcycle adapters and duck-head kits must match the specific machine and wheel. Do not treat an accessory as universal based on its name.
Pairing a Changer with a Balancer
A changer mounts and demounts tires; a balancer measures wheel imbalance. Compare each machine separately. A heavy-duty changer paired with a balancer does not mean that both accept the same maximum wheel diameter, width, or weight.
Use our wheel balancer comparison and combo packages to compare options. Check included accessories and current total costs rather than assuming a package always costs less.
Plan Your Investment
Estimate payback from your actual service volume, margin per completed job, equipment cost, freight, installation, utilities, training, and maintenance. There is no guaranteed 6–12 month payback period. Equipment service life depends on use, conditions, maintenance, and replacement-part support.
Setup and Maintenance
Read the instructions for the supplied machine. Verify electrical and air connections, floor suitability, clearances, lubrication, inspections, calibration where required, and approved service procedures. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule rather than a generic interval.
Availability, Pickup, and Freight
Product prices and freight charges are shown separately. Contact ALLIZOE before ordering or paying for warehouse pickup so we can confirm actual supplier stock and the warehouse. Confirmed supplier pickup is free, with no freight or handling fee, by appointment only; no same-day pickup is available. Wait for written readiness confirmation and the supplier pickup release form before traveling.
For delivery, confirm packed dimensions, shipment weight, access, and unloading requirements. See our shipping guide and supplier pickup guide.
