Start with your vehicles, intended services, installation site and complete budget. A lift's post count, capacity or marketing label alone does not establish suitability.

Define the Service Task
For tire and brake work, check how the vehicle is supported and whether the wheels can be removed in an approved setup. For underbody work, compare which areas the arms, platforms or runways obstruct. Removing major components can change vehicle balance; follow the vehicle and lift manufacturer's applicable procedures and support requirements.
For storage, verify the model permits the use and check both vehicles and their clearances. For alignment, select a suitable alignment lift and confirm the required turntables, slip plates and accessories.
Compare Features Without Assuming Compatibility
Symmetric and asymmetric designs differ in arm arrangement and approved vehicle positioning. Check the actual manufacturer's layout and lifting instructions instead of treating either label as a guarantee for trucks, cars or easy door access.
A rolling jack must match the lift's approved accessories, rails and load requirements. It provides wheel-free lifting in approved applications; it does not remove every underbody obstruction or convert every parking lift into an alignment rack. Portable designs and caster kits have their own approved movement conditions.
Check the Vehicle and Site
Verify actual loaded vehicle weight, weight distribution, approved lifting points, dimensions, and the manufacturer's total and individual support limits. A vehicle category or a fixed percentage added to its weight does not establish compatibility.
Measure the exact lift footprint, vehicle access, raised vehicle height, working space, doors, tracks, openers and other obstructions. Have concrete condition, thickness, strength, anchoring and required clearances assessed for the chosen model before preparing the site. There is no universal ceiling height or slab specification for every lift.
Utilities, Installation and Budget
Confirm the supplied voltage, phase, frequency, circuit, grounding and any required air supply. Configuration prices may differ. KT-4H120PX and KT-4H150 are supplied with 220V electrical power units and require an external compressed-air supply for pneumatic safety-lock release. Electrical power and compressed air are separate utility requirements; confirm the supplied lift and rolling jack's pressure, flow, fittings and installation requirements before ordering.
Obtain a model-specific installation quote and follow the applicable assembly, commissioning, inspection and maintenance instructions. Professional installation does not automatically establish warranty coverage or certification; review the actual documents and terms.
Compare equipment, freight, unloading, site preparation, utilities, accessories, installation and ongoing service costs. Use current prices and quotes. Estimate payback from your own workload and costs rather than assuming a fixed return period.
