Define the vehicles, wheel assemblies, repair tasks, expected workload, site and budget before selecting equipment. This checklist helps prepare a shortlist; it does not represent every tool or business requirement for opening a shop.

Check Features on the Current Product Page
Do not select by an old price, product URL, or premium label. Confirm the current model name, supplied configuration, specifications, included components, and documentation.
- Assist-arm designs differ; do not assume every assisted changer has two arms.
- KT-T26PRO and KT-T260 are distinct model names.
- Do not assume laser guidance or a measurement-cycle time from a balancer's old URL.
- No tire changer guarantees zero wheel damage; compatible tools, training and correct operation matter.
- A truck-capable changer does not give its paired balancer the same wheel capacity.
Accessories Must Match the Equipment
Rolling jacks support wheel-free service on compatible four-post lifts; they are not general wheel-handling carts or accessories for a two-post lift. Check jack rails, rated capacity, support points and the approved setup. A jack tray and a powered rolling jack are different products.
Motorcycle adapters, lifting pads, caster kits, mounting fixtures and other accessories require model-specific compatibility checks. Alignment work needs a suitable alignment lift and its required equipment.
Plan the Site and Utilities
Check actual footprints, working areas, vehicle access, raised heights, overhead obstructions and storage. Scissor lifts also require adequate vehicle clearance. Have the floor and installation requirements assessed before preparing the site.
Confirm voltage, phase, frequency, circuit, grounding and any required air supply for each supplied unit. Do not assume every machine uses 220V or the same air connection.
